Many thanks to all of you who came to our first market of 2011 - and to those of you who didn’t make it - not to worry - our next market is on Saturday, March 19th from 10am - 3pm outside the Big Peg, Warstone Lane, B18 6NF!!
The day started out very wet, but it didn’t dampen our stallholders spirits! We were all up and running and even had some very keen visitors before 10! Many thanks to all our stallholders and we look forward to seeing them again next month! I know I’ll be looking forward to seeing everyone to stock back up - my balsamic glaze from Squisito is already starting to look a bit empty!
The market showcased a new stall this month - the 24 Carrot Garden - a fruit and veg stall run by the Carroteers! We have decided as a group to run our own fruit and vegetable stall to guarantee fresh, high quality and British grown fruit and vegetables are at the Farmer’s market every month! All profits generated from the sale of the produce will be put directly back into growing the Farmer’s market! We’d like to say a big thank you to all those who supported us and the Twitter feed was full of compliments. We’ve learnt a few big lessons for next month- more leeks and less cabbages, and warmer clothes!!
