So a new year has begun- and time for us to start organising our next round of markets- Kicking off on the 19th February- a mere 4 weeks away!!
So what have us Carrots been up to during our month off? Working away on making sure this year’s markets are a success of course! We all took a well deserved break over Christmas but have been right back at it since early January! We have been working away trying to secure funding for the market, liaising with our stallholders about the next market and the year ahead, and our marketing carrots have been working hard on campaigns to try and raise awareness of the market! Busy, busy busy!
And what of our plans for this year? Well! We are still the third Saturday of every month, with our lovely regular stallholders, providing you with fresh fruit and veg, meats, breads, tea’s coffee’s, chutneys, honey’s and lots of delicious foods- we will also be welcoming some new stalls this year- to add to the offering we already have. An additional feature that we will be displaying on the website is a list of the stallholders who will be attending the market- we will be getting this out during the week of the market- to help you plan your shopping requirements! The market will still be in the same location- although we have some exciting news about our location that we’ll be letting you all know about in the coming months!
We will also be showcasing more local acts, to entertain us on market days- we are still looking to fill spaces this year- so if you are interested do drop us a line!
