Stop the press! This Carroteer has just checked the weather forecast for our market this Saturday, and it’s going to be dry- and the sun may even make a rare appearance. I don’t want to get my hopes up- but I am now jumping for joy at the thoughts of a sunny, dry market!
Us Carroteers like to be well prepared (you should see our bags on market day! We are equipped for all possible weather combinations!) so this month we’ve been looking at our entertainment options for the year. We love having live music at the market, it really makes the day more vibrant and fun! We are having some problems organising enough acts to see us through the year- so if you are a band or a solo artist and would like to come along and play on one of our market days, held the third Saturday of every month from 10-3 outside the Big Peg, Warstone Lane, then please click here and let us know!!

I can’t wait to get my hands on some amazing steaks, fantastic fresh fruit and vegetables, teas, coffees, goat burgers, vegan chocolate mousse, natural soap, the best hot chocolate in the world- and to top it all off the girls at the simply amazing Kiss Me Cupcakes will be holding a raffle for Comic Relief and 10p from each cupcake they sell on Saturday will be going to the cause too!
